What Frygo considers
A single time chart cannot know what is in your kitchen. In Frygo, a recommendation can account for the selected food and preparation, fresh or frozen state, amount, desired crispiness, optional preheat and your air fryer model or closest appliance type.
- Food and preparation: Different cuts, coatings and preparations need different starting points.
- State and amount: Frozen food, moisture and crowding can change how quickly heat reaches the food.
- Appliance: Basket size, chamber shape and airflow can make the same food behave differently between appliances.
- Your feedback: A rating of too short, just right or too long is stored locally and can gently refine future starting points for your selected appliance.
What Frygo does not claim
Frygo does not guarantee a finish time or replace the instructions from your appliance manufacturer or food packaging. Food size, starting temperature, load and appliance behaviour can still vary from one cook to the next. The app therefore provides check windows and reminders rather than presenting a minute value as a certainty.
Check colour, texture and doneness as you cook. For foods that require a safe internal temperature, use an appropriate food thermometer and follow authoritative food-safety guidance.
How to get the most useful result
- Select your exact air fryer profile when available, or the closest basket or oven-style fallback.
- Describe the food honestly: especially its state, amount and preferred result.
- Leave space for airflow and follow the app's shake, turn and check reminders.
- Rate the result after cooking so the next starting point can better reflect your appliance.
Privacy by design
Frygo works without an account, advertising or tracking. Your settings and cooking feedback stay on your device. Read the privacy approach for the details.
